Argentine footballer Lionel Messi has expressed his desire to expand his family with a baby girl, alongside his wife Antonela Roccuzzo, despite their current stance of not actively trying for another child. 
If you recall that the couple, who tied the knot in 2017 after a lifelong connection that began in childhood, already share three sons: Thiago, aged 11, Mateo, aged 8, and Ciro, aged 6.
In a recent interview with ESPN Argentina, Messi candidly discussed his hopes for a daughter, stating, "I would love to have a girl/daughter but right now, we're not trying. There's nothing concrete right now."
Challenges in Paris and Personal Reflections
During the same interview with ESPN, the 36-year-old football icon recounted the difficulties he faced while living in Paris and playing for PSG. Messi acknowledged the challenges posed by neighbors who would complain about his sons playing football, leading to disruptions in their daily life. He remarked, "In Paris, the neighbors were a pain in the a**. They rang the doorbell and told the boys not to make any noise playing football. Besides, it was ten o'clock..."
Reflecting further on his time in Paris, Messi admitted the personal toll the experience took on him, affecting both his mood and performance on the pitch. He noted, "I had a hard time because the change was very difficult for us, it affects my mood a lot and it reflected on the pitch. And in Paris, on a personal level, it was not good."
