Onyeka Onwenu, a renowned Nigerian singer and actress, has passed away at the age of 72. She died after collapsing at a private function in Lagos, where she was rushed to Reddington Hospital and pronounced dead.

Onwenu's last performance was at the birthday party of Mrs. Stella Okoli, the CEO of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, before her untimely collapse.

Onyeka was a celebrated musician and advocate for women's rights, who was known for her hit songs like "One Love" and "Ekwe."
