Renowned American rapper Rick Ross was embroiled in a physical altercation in Vancouver, Canada, following his performance at the Ignite Music Festival on Sunday, June 30.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m., shortly after Ross concluded his set with Kendrick Lamar's song "Not Like Us," a track perceived as a diss aimed at Drake.
According to eyewitness accounts and video footage obtained by TMZ, Ross engaged in a heated argument with a group of approximately 15 men. The verbal exchange escalated into violence, with one individual throwing a punch in Ross's direction. Although it is unclear whether Ross was struck in the face, liquid from his drink was seen flying into the air as a result of the altercation.
