Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided insights on when Raheem Sterling, their Deadline Day acquisition, might make his debut.
During a press conference, Arteta stated, “We have to see him, speak to him about what he’s been doing and how he’s feeling about it and try to find quick wins to get him up to speed as quickly as possible.” He emphasized the importance of Sterling understanding the team's dynamics, saying, “[We need] for him to understand what we are looking for from him in the dynamics of the team. We will use that time to do that and get him involved as soon as possible.”
Sterling joined Arsenal on a season-long loan from Chelsea after being left out of the Chelsea squad by manager Enzo Maresca.
In today's match, Arsenal drew 1-1 with Brighton, with Kai Havertz scoring for Arsenal. Their next game is against Tottenham Hotspur on September 15.
