Tamara Potocka Collapses After Olympic Swim at Paris Aquatics Centre
Tamara Potocka, a 21-year-old Slovakian swimmer, experienced a collapse in front of shocked spectators after completing her race at the Olympic Games held at the Paris Aquatics Centre.
Potocka competed in the women’s 200-meter individual medley earlier today at 10:30 am BST, finishing in seventh place and missing out on advancing to the next rounds.
Following the race, Potocka was seen briefly sitting by the poolside before she fell backward. Emergency medical staff responded promptly, applying an oxygen mask and carefully placing her on a stretcher. She was then quickly transported from the arena for medical evaluation.
