In a recent video, VDM dismissed the lawsuit, confidently stating that he would not lose the case. Bobrisky, in response, took to his Instagram Stories to describe VDM's reaction as that of an "empty vessel."
The conflict between Bobrisky and VDM began when VDM released an audio recording on Instagram, alleging that Bobrisky had bribed officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him. The audio also claimed that Bobrisky served his prison sentence in a private apartment, facilitated by his influential connections.
Bobrisky has categorically denied these allegations, asserting that the audio recordings were fabricated using artificial intelligence. In response to the defamatory claims, Bobrisky filed a lawsuit demanding N1 billion in damages and a public apology from VDM. The lawsuit also seeks the removal of the audio recording and an end to all defamatory content related to Bobrisky.
VDM, known for his outspoken nature and social activism, has remained defiant, suggesting that there is a conspiracy involving Bobrisky and other influential figures. He has vowed to continue his fight, claiming that the truth will prevail.
