Arsenal received a major boost as Mikel Merino returned to training ahead of their upcoming showdown with Paris Saint-Germain.
The talented Spanish midfielder, who joined from Real Sociedad during the summer transfer window, had been nursing a shoulder injury that kept him out of action. However, his swift recovery is a promising development for Mikel Arteta's squad as they prepare for the high-stakes Champions League clash.

In another positive turn of events, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Riccardo Calafiori were also spotted participating in full training sessions. Tomiyasu has been working his way back after a knee injury, while Calafiori's involvement follows his recovery from a minor hamstring issue. Both players are expected to be in contention for selection against PSG, strengthening Arsenal's defensive options.

Last weekend, Arsenal displayed their attacking prowess in a thrilling 4-2 victory over Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium. Gabriel Martinelli fired the opening goal for the Gunners, with Leandro Trossard adding another shortly after. Despite two goals from Leicester's James Justin, Arsenal secured the win with late contributions from Wilfred Ndidi and Kai Havertz.
