In a video shared on his Instagram page, VDM laughed off the lawsuit, expressing confidence that the case would ultimately work in his favor. He suggested that the lawsuit would harm the credibility of those involved, stating, "Because of this case, some people's integrity will go down." He also promised to make sure they suffer in court.
VDM warned that Bobrisky and others would regret taking the case this far, boldly declaring, "You will hate why you take this case like this. I promise you that." He was firm in his belief that the lawsuit would not only benefit him by increasing his publicity but also expose his opponents' weaknesses, adding that it was all part of a larger plot.
He went on to claim that there was a conspiracy at play, pointing out that within 24 hours of his initial post, Nigerian rapper Falz had demanded an apology and a retraction. Meanwhile, Bobrisky had initially appeared confused and even expressed thoughts of depression. However, Bobrisky suddenly found the strength to sue VDM, leading him to believe that Falz and Bobrisky were working together. VDM speculated that Bobrisky's "leaky mouth" might be the reason no one is addressing him directly, as doing so could lead to more significant problems.
VDM also questioned how Bobrisky managed to have a phone while in prison, where such privileges are typically not allowed. He viewed this as further evidence that something suspicious was happening. "You people are playing with me," VDM said, emphasizing that he would fight the case fiercely. He vowed that if his credibility was damaged instead of theirs, "may God punish me." He confidently stated that his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, would be the only one to benefit from the case, as it would raise Adeyanju’s profile.
In his closing remarks, VDM declared that he had never lost a case and would not lose this one either. He remained steadfast, assuring his opponents that the legal battle would ultimately tarnish their reputations, not his.
