Carlo Ancelotti Expresses Gratitude To Vinicius After Winning Men's Coach of the Year at Ballon d'Or

Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, recently received the Men's Coach of the Year award at the 2024 Ballon d'Or ceremony. This award highlights his exceptional leadership and tactical expertise, which guided Real Madrid to a triumphant season that included both the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League.

Under his guidance, the team secured a record-extending 15th Champions League crown, solidifying Ancelotti's legacy as one of football's greatest coaches.

Despite these remarkable achievements, Real Madrid chose not to attend the ceremony in Paris. This decision was seen as a show of solidarity, especially considering that Vinicius Jr. narrowly missed out on the Ballon d'Or men's best player award, which was won by Manchester City's Rodri.

Vinicius, who was a strong contender, finished second, while Dani Carvajal ended up in fourth place. The club's absence underscored their belief that both players deserved greater recognition.

Following the announcement, Ancelotti took to Twitter to express his gratitude, saying, "I want to thank my Family, my President, my Club, my Players and above all Vini and Carvajal." His heartfelt message emphasized the collective effort that led to their success and singled out Vinicius and Carvajal for their significant contributions.
