JOSLU BACKS CRISTIANO RONALDO AS REAL MADRID'S GREATEST, SAYS KYLIAN MBAPPE CAN ONLY TRY TO MATCH PORTUGUESE LEGEND'S RECORDS
Former Real Madrid striker Joselu has weighed in on the debate surrounding Kylian Mbappe's potential impact at the Santiago Bernabéu, insisting that Cristiano Ronaldo remains the club's greatest of all time.
In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Joselu acknowledged Mbappe's impressive credentials, having left Paris Saint-Germain as the club's all-time top scorer with 256 goals and 108 assists in 308 games. However, he believes the 25-year-old French forward can only aspire to replicate Ronaldo's remarkable achievements at Real Madrid.
"Cristiano has been the 'GOAT' of Real Madrid, the top scorer in the history of the club," Joselu stated. "Mbappe's goal will be to make similar numbers, but Cristiano is the best striker who has passed through Real Madrid."
