Arsenal faced a challenging match against title rivals Liverpool on Sunday, resulting in a 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium. The game saw Arsenal twice surrendering the lead, and attention shifted to the injuries sustained by Gabriel Magalhaes and Jurrien Timber.

The match saw Bukayo Saka opening the scoring for Arsenal in the 9th minute, followed by Mikel Merino doubling the lead in the 42nd minute. Liverpool responded with a goal from Virgil van Dijk in the 17th minute, and Mohamed Salah equalized in the 80th minute to secure the draw.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed his concerns about the injuries to Gabriel Magalhaes and Jurrien Timber. Gabriel was forced off early in the second half with what appeared to be a knee injury, while Timber was substituted due to discomfort. Arteta provided a brief update after the match, stating, "We've done everything we could to accelerate the process. He [Timber] was so willing. The medical staff did amazing work, I don't know the extent of the injury, if there is one."

Arteta also commented on Gabriel's condition, saying, "I don't know but he can't run. I don't know if it was his knee or his ankle. He is being assessed right now." The uncertainty surrounding the severity of the injuries adds to Arsenal's growing injury crisis, with Arteta already having to deal with several key players missing from the squad.

Despite the draw, Arteta was disappointed that his side couldn't secure a win, especially given the chances they created. "Really disappointing not to win it because when you look at the chances, we should have won the game. The team played so well, we were dominant and very determined."

The draw leaves Arsenal in third place in the Premier League table, but the injuries to Gabriel and Timber are a significant concern for the team's future performances.
