Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice recently had the honor of meeting Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp at an exclusive signing event held at the Armoury Store on October 26, 2024. This event celebrated the launch of the Dennis Bergkamp Collectible Note, a unique item created with The Global Note, featuring augmented reality elements.
Bergkamp, who spent 11 seasons with Arsenal, made a lasting impact on the club with his incredible skill and vision. Throughout his tenure, he scored 87 goals and provided 94 assists in 315 appearances, helping Arsenal secure three Premier League titles. His most iconic moment came in the 1998 World Cup quarter-final when he scored a stunning 90th-minute winner against Argentina.
Over the weekend, Jurrien Timber was substituted during Arsenal's match against Liverpool due to a slight muscular issue. Despite the setback, Timber took to social media to express his gratitude for the opportunity to meet Bergkamp, posting, "It was an incredible experience to meet a true legend. Dennis Bergkamp's legacy at Arsenal is something I aspire to. Thanks for the inspiration, Dennis!"
Looking ahead, Arsenal's next game is against Preston North End on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Deepdale Stadium. The Gunners will be looking to continue their strong form and secure another victory.
