Barcelona forward Ansu Fati has been ruled out for approximately four weeks due to a right hamstring injury sustained during training on Wednesday morning. The club confirmed the setback, which will sideline the player for several important fixtures.
Fati, who has featured in seven matches for Barcelona this season—primarily as a substitute—has yet to score or register an assist. His most recent appearance came in Barcelona's UEFA Champions League victory over Red Star Belgrade on November 6, 2024.
The 21-year-old will miss key La Liga matches against Celta Vigo, Las Palmas, Mallorca, and Real Betis, as well as a Champions League fixture against Brest. Barcelona's first match after the international break is scheduled for November 23, 2024, against Celta Vigo.
This injury marks another blow for the club, which has already been dealing with a series of injury concerns. Fati’s absence will further stretch the team’s attacking options during the coming weeks.
