Barcelona suffered a surprising 2-1 defeat to Las Palmas at home on Saturday, November 30th, 2024. The match, which took place at the Estadi OlÃmpic LluÃs Companys, marked their first home loss of the season in La Liga.
Las Palmas took the lead in the 49th minute when Jonathan RamÃrez found the back of the net with a well-taken finish. Barcelona responded just after the hour mark, with Raphinha scoring a brilliant goal in the 61st minute to bring the match level. However, Las Palmas regained the lead in the 67th minute through a goal by Fábio Silva, which ultimately sealed the victory for the visitors.
The loss came as a blow to Barcelona, who had been in strong form under coach Hansi Flick but have now gone three matches without a win in La Liga, following their previous loss to Real Sociedad and a draw against Celta Vigo.
