Bayer Leverkusen showcased an outstanding performance tonight in their UEFA Champions League match against FC Salzburg, securing a decisive 5-0 victory. 
The goals for Bayer Leverkusen were scored by Florian Wirtz, Aleix Garcia, Patrik Schick, and Alex Grimaldo.
Florian Wirtz opened the scoring with a low, driven shot from the edge of the box in the 7th minute and added a second goal with a well-placed shot from the penalty spot in the 30th minute. Alex Grimaldo doubled the lead with a powerful strike from outside the area in the 11th minute. Patrik Schick added to the score with a clinical finish following a through ball in the 61st minute, and Aleix Garcia capped off the scoring with a header from a corner kick in the 72nd minute.
Bayer Leverkusen's next match is set to be against Union Berlin in the Bundesliga on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
