Arsenal delivered a dominant performance in the UEFA Champions League, defeating Sporting Clube de Portugal 5-1 in Lisbon tonight. Bukayo Saka was named the Man of the Match for his outstanding contribution.
Reflecting on the victory, Saka said, “We really had to believe in ourselves and go out there and do it today. Every single Arsenal player could have got the MOTM award. We were top today.”
The goals for Arsenal were scored by Martinelli (6), Havertz (21), Gabriel (45), Saka (64 pen), and Trossard (81). Sporting's lone goal came from Gonçalo Inácio (46).
