Dammy Krane, the Nigerian musician and social media personality, has once again made headlines, this time involving the Nigerian presidency. 
The controversy stems from his ongoing accusations against Afrobeat superstar Davido regarding the 2017 death of their mutual friend, Tagbo Umeike.
Tagbo, who passed away after excessive alcohol consumption, has been the subject of heated discussions, with Krane persistently holding Davido responsible for his death, a stance that led to Krane’s earlier arrest in connection with his public commentssday, Krane took to his X (formerly Twitter) page, appealing to President Bola Tinubu to intervene and ensure justice for Tagbo.
In his post, Krane alleged that influential individuals were using their wealth to cover up the truth. He wrote, “OPEN LETTER TO PBAT: YOUR EXCELLENCY, Please We Really Want #JusticeForTagbo These oppressors #TheOpps are using Money to Cover up the case.” This appeal was followed by a call to action on the political future of Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.
Krane speculated that Seyi could become the next governor of Lagos State and urged Nigerians to either accept this possibility or consider leaving the country .
THESE allegations against Davido and the controversy surrounding Tagbo’s death have been a long-standing issue, but in recent months, Krane has continued to raise public concerns. This has included accusations against Davido for orchestrating Krane’s detention, which was linked to a legal dispute between the two musicians.
