Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard have both been named in Arsenal's starting lineup for their upcoming Premier League clash against Chelsea.
While Ødegaard has fully recovered from the ankle injury that kept him sidelined since September, Rice remains a fitness concern.
The midfielder is still recovering from a foot injury sustained in Arsenal's recent match against Newcastle, which ruled him out of their Champions League tie against Inter Milan.
Despite this setback, Rice will be reassessed before Sunday's match to determine if he can take part.
Arsenal's confirmed starting lineup for the Chelsea game includes:
- Arsenal XI: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber, Partey, Rice, Ødegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Havertz
- Substitutes: Neto, Zinchenko, Lewis-Skelly, Kiwior, Jorginho, Merino, Nwaneri, Trossard, Jesus
Chelsea will line up with the following players:
- Chelsea XI: Sanchez, Gusto, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella, Lavia, Caicedo, Madueke, Palmer, Neto, Jackson
- Substitutes: Jorgensen, Badiashile, Tosin, Veiga, James, Enzo, Mudryk, João Felix, Nkunku
Both teams are aiming to strengthen their positions in the Premier League standings, with Arsenal hoping to close the gap on the top spots, while Chelsea seeks to gain much-needed momentum.
