Ivan Toney showcased his exceptional talent by scoring twice within 10 minutes after being substituted onto the pitch, propelling Al-Ahli to a 2-1 triumph over Al-Ain on Monday. This victory has secured Al-Ahli’s advancement to the knockout rounds of the Asian Champions League Elite.

Toney, who transferred to Al-Ahli in August for a reported £40 million ($50 million), was brought on in the 65th minute. He made an immediate impact, scoring his first goal from a header off Riyad Mahrez's free kick and his second from another well-placed cross by Mahrez, all within a brief four-minute period.

This performance marks a significant moment in Toney's season, as he has so far scored six goals in 14 matches across all competitions for Al-Ahli. Toney remains committed to giving his best for the team and building on this recent success.
