AS Roma has officially confirmed the return of Claudio Ranieri as their head coach, marking his third time in charge of the club. Ranieri previously managed Roma from 2009 to 2011 and later stepped in as a caretaker manager in 2019. His latest appointment follows the dismissal of Ivan Juric, who was relieved of his duties after Roma's recent 3-2 home loss to Bologna.

Ranieri, widely celebrated for leading Leicester City to a historic Premier League title in 2016, is now tasked with reviving a struggling Roma side currently in 12th place in Serie A, only four points above the relegation zone. The club’s management is banking on Ranieri's extensive experience and tactical expertise to restore stability and improve their league standing.

Ranieri will conduct his first training session with the team at the Trigoria training ground tomorrow, as they prepare for their upcoming match against Napoli on Sunday, November 24.
