Javier Mascherano Appointed as Inter Miami Head Coach Following Tata Martino's Departure

Former Argentina U20 manager Javier Mascherano has been appointed as the new head coach of Inter Miami CF, succeeding Gerardo "Tata" Martino, who stepped down due to personal reasons.

Mascherano, who managed Argentina U20 for three years, oversaw 25 matches, achieving 17 victories and winning the Under-20 South American Championship in 2023.

Inter Miami parted ways with Martino after a successful tenure that included leading the team to their first two titles: the 2023 Leagues Cup and the 2024 Supporters' Shield. 

Mascherano is set to take charge ahead of the 2025 season, bringing his experience and expertise to the club.
