"Lionel Messi is undoubtedly the greatest player of all time," Rodri remarked. "Cristiano Ronaldo has managed to reach Messi’s level without possessing the same natural talent. Those of us who have played against both can tell the difference."
Rodri elaborated on the distinct playing styles of Messi and Ronaldo, noting Messi's comprehensive threat on the pitch versus Ronaldo’s effectiveness in certain scenarios. "We aimed to keep Cristiano out of the box because of his lethal finishing," Rodri explained. "However, with Messi, the danger is present across the entire field."
