Nigerian TikTok star Odesanmi Opeyemi, widely recognized as Oloba Salo, made his first social media appearance after surviving a traumatic gunshot attack in Lekki, Lagos.
The incident unfolded on the evening of October 10, 2024, when Salo was targeted while driving his white SUV near the Tantalizer Junction. Eyewitnesses reported that a man posing as a beggar approached Salo's vehicle and shot him when he lowered his window. The attack was captured in a viral video, which showed the aftermath, including bloodstains and bullet casings inside the car.
Salo’s brother posted a video from the hospital, confirming that the influencer had been shot several times, with injuries to his kidney and pelvic area. Fortunately, Salo is receiving medical care, and authorities are actively investigating the motive behind the assault.
