Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong recently offered fans a glimpse into the team’s preparations by sharing a photo of their meal while in camp.
The Nigerian national team has set up camp in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, as they prepare for critical upcoming matches in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The image was shared by journalist Pooja on Twitter, showcasing the team’s atmosphere as they gear up for two key games during this November international break. Nigeria’s first match will take place on November 14 against Benin Republic at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan. They will then return to home soil to face Rwanda on November 18 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
These games hold significant importance for the Super Eagles as they aim to secure qualification for the 2025 AFCON tournament scheduled to be held in Morocco. Nigeria currently leads Group D with 10 points from four matches, positioning them as strong contenders for a place in the tournament.
