Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Aurélien Tchouaméni is back in action after recovering from an ankle injury sustained during Real Madrid's Champions League match against AC Milan on November 5. Tchouaméni, who has been sidelined for almost a month, is now ready to play.
"Tchouaméni is back! He feels very good and he's ready to start," Ancelotti said in a press conference ahead of their midweek match against Athletic Club. "You will see tomorrow where he will play."
Last weekend, Real Madrid secured a 2-0 victory against Getafe CF, with Jude Bellingham scoring from the penalty spot in the 30th minute and Kylian Mbappé adding another goal in the first half. With his return, Ancelotti is optimistic about the team's performance in their upcoming fixtures.
