
CAF has honored Nigerian football legend Daniel Amokachi on his birthday, acknowledging his immense contributions to African and global football.

Amokachi, famously nicknamed "The Bull," earned 44 international caps for Nigeria, scoring 13 goals. He played a crucial role in the Super Eagles’ success at the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations and was a key figure in Nigeria’s historic gold medal win at the 1996 Olympics. His appearances at the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups further cemented his legacy as a prominent figure in Nigerian football.
