Marcus Rashford has rejoined Manchester United's squad for their match against Newcastle United tonight, marking his return after a four-game absence.
The 27-year-old forward last played on December 12 in the Europa League against Viktoria Plzen.
He was subsequently omitted from the squad for the Manchester derby on December 15 and missed the following matches against Bournemouth, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and the Carabao Cup fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.
Manager Ruben Amorim had previously cited "selection" reasons for Rashford's absence. Rashford's return is anticipated to bolster United's attacking options as they face Newcastle at Old Trafford.
