Despite a missed penalty by captain Heung-Min Son, whose effort was saved by José Sá, Spurs took the lead just before halftime. Brennan Johnson finished clinically from Dejan Kulusevski's assist, marking his 11th goal of the season.
The second half was marked by disruptions, including an injury to Destiny Udogie, who was forced off early in the half. As the match progressed, Tottenham had opportunities to extend their lead but failed to capitalize.
Wolves capitalized on this in the 87th minute when substitute Jorgen Strand Larsen scored from a tight angle, securing a point for the visitors.
