Ruben Amorim Praises Tyrell Malacia's Brave Comeback Amid Injury Concerns
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim expressed his admiration for Tyrell Malacia's performance following his return from a lengthy injury. "Tyrell did very well on Thursday," Amorim said. "He was more than a year without playing, and the way he behaved so brave with the ball, I'm really happy with him."
Malacia, who had been sidelined for over a year due to a serious knee injury, made his comeback in the Europa League match against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night. Despite being substituted at half-time as his minutes are carefully managed, Amorim was pleased with Malacia's bravery on the ball.
In the mid-week fixture, Manchester United secured a 3-2 victory over Bodo/Glimt, with goals from Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, and Anthony Martial.
Looking ahead, Manchester United will face Everton in the Premier League this Sunday as they aim for their first league win under Amorim's leadership.
