Álvaro Morata is reportedly close to securing a move to Galatasaray, with negotiations in the advanced stages. According to multiple sources, discussions are ongoing, and all parties involved are working towards finalizing the transfer within the next few hours.
The Spanish striker joined AC Milan from Atlético Madrid in July 2024 and has made 25 appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring six goals and providing two assists. Despite being a regular under coach Sergio Conceição, Morata is considering a move due to the team's inconsistent performances and recent managerial changes.
Galatasaray is eager to strengthen its attacking options, and Morata’s versatility aligns well with the tactical system of head coach Okan Buruk. However, financial aspects remain a key factor in completing the deal. Morata currently earns €4.5 million net per season under a contract valid until 2028, while AC Milan invested €13 million in his transfer last summer.
If the move is finalized, Morata will join a strong Galatasaray attack featuring Mauro Icardi and Michy Batshuayi. The Turkish club is currently leading the Süper Lig, with Fenerbahçe closely trailing behind.
