Mathys Tel Rejects Tottenham's Transfer Proposal as He Weighs Offers from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United

Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich have reached a verbal agreement for the transfer of Mathys Tel, with a proposed fee of £50 million. However, Tel has not yet made a final decision regarding the move. He is also considering interest from other clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United. 

The 19-year-old French forward has expressed a desire for more regular playing time, which has been limited at Bayern Munich due to competition from established players. Tottenham is hopeful that offering Tel increased game time will persuade him to join their squad. 

If the transfer proceeds at the agreed fee, it would mark Bayern's most significant sale to date. Tel's former club, Stade Rennais, is entitled to a sell-on percentage of approximately 10 to 15 percent. 

Tel's versatility allows him to play across various attacking positions, and his potential acquisition is seen as a strategic move to bolster Tottenham's offensive options. The club has outlined a project emphasizing substantial playing time to attract Tel, but he is taking time to consider his options amid interest from multiple clubs. 

As of now, Tel has not made a definitive decision regarding his future, and discussions are ongoing.
