Valencia CF has secured the services of right-back Max Aarons from AFC Bournemouth on a loan agreement extending until the conclusion of the current season. This arrangement includes a non-mandatory purchase option valued at approximately €9 million.

Aarons, 25, arrived in Valencia on Saturday evening and successfully completed his medical examination. He is anticipated to join the team promptly, providing reinforcement for the right-back position following the long-term injury of Thierry Correia.

Prior to his move, Aarons participated in Bournemouth's FA Cup match against West Bromwich Albion, playing 45 minutes in their 5-1 victory. His addition marks Valencia's second acquisition of the winter transfer window, following the signing of Umar Sadiq.

Valencia's pursuit of Aarons intensified after challenges emerged in securing their primary target, Iván Fresneda. The club is also actively seeking to strengthen its midfield as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the squad.
