Eric Chelle Appointed as New Head Coach of the Super Eagles
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially named Eric Chelle as the new head coach of the Super Eagles.
Prior to this role, Chelle was the head coach of Mali's national team, where he led them to the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2023.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new position, Chelle stated, "I am honored to take on the challenge of leading the Super Eagles. My goal is to harness the immense talent within this team and strive for excellence in every match we play." His appointment comes at a pivotal time as the team looks to build on their legacy and aim for success in upcoming African and global football tournaments. Chelle further added, "I believe in a football philosophy that combines discipline with creativity, and I am eager to see how this team can implement that on the pitch."
