
Despite an early goal from Kylian Mbappé in the 4th minute, Los Blancos were unable to maintain their momentum as Barcelona staged an impressive comeback.
Lamine Yamal equalized for the Catalan side, followed by a clinical penalty conversion from Robert Lewandowski. Raphinha then delivered a stellar performance with two goals, while Alejandro Balde added another to extend Barcelona’s dominance to 5-1.
Although Rodrygo managed to pull one back for Real Madrid in the second half, the team could not capitalize even after Barcelona were reduced to ten players following goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny's red card.
The victory marked Barcelona's 15th Supercopa de España title and the first trophy under their new manager, Hansi Flick, highlighting a strong start to his tenure. Meanwhile, Real Madrid will need to regroup quickly as they prepare for their upcoming fixtures.
