Cesare Casadei Completes Permanent Transfer to Torino from Chelsea in €15M Deal

Italian midfielder Cesare Casadei has completed a permanent transfer from Chelsea to Torino. The deal is valued at €15 million and includes a 25% sell-on clause in favor of Chelsea. 

Casadei, 22, joined Chelsea from Inter Milan in 2022 for a reported fee of €15 million plus €5 million in add-ons. During his tenure with the Blues, he made 17 appearances but struggled to secure a regular first-team position. He also had loan spells at Reading and Leicester City, where he gained valuable playing experience. 

Torino emerged as the leading contender for Casadei's signature, fending off interest from other Serie A clubs, including Napoli and Lazio. The Italian club's successful negotiation reflects their commitment to bolstering their midfield options. 

This transfer marks Casadei's return to Serie A, where he aims to achieve more consistent playing time and further his development in Italian football.
