Manchester United anticipates that defender Tyrell Malacia will depart the club before the transfer window closes on Monday night.

The Dutch left-back, who joined United from Feyenoord in July 2022 for €15 million, has faced challenges in securing a regular first-team position, partly due to injury setbacks.

Recent reports suggest that Malacia has been informed he is free to seek opportunities elsewhere, with a loan move being the most likely outcome. Several clubs across Europe's top leagues have expressed interest in acquiring his services.

Juventus is among the clubs reportedly considering a loan deal for Malacia, aiming to strengthen their defensive options. Additionally, Real Betis has shown interest in bolstering their squad with the acquisition of Malacia.

Malacia's potential departure aligns with manager Ruben Amorim's strategy to reshape the squad and raise funds for new signings. The club is actively pursuing reinforcements, particularly in the left-back position, to better fit Amorim's tactical approach.

As the transfer deadline approaches, it is expected that Malacia will finalize a move that provides him with regular playing time and allows Manchester United to adjust their squad composition accordingly.
