Tottenham Hotspur Finalize €25 Million Transfer for Kevin Danso from RC Lens, Signing the Austrian Center-Back Until June 2030

Tottenham Hotspur is finalizing the acquisition of Austrian center-back Kevin Danso from RC Lens for a €25 million package, with a contract extending until June 2030.

 The medical examination is scheduled for Sunday. This development comes after Wolverhampton Wanderers had reached a verbal agreement and arranged a medical for Danso. 

Danso, 26, has been a pivotal figure for Lens, amassing nearly 130 appearances, including six in the Champions League last season. His prior experience includes stints with FC Augsburg and a loan period at Southampton. Tottenham's move to secure Danso is timely, given recent injuries to defenders Cristian Romero and Radu Dragusin. 

This transfer marks Danso's return to English football, having previously been part of Reading and MK Dons' youth setups, as well as his loan experience at Southampton.
