Nigerian reality TV star Omashola Kola Oburoh has sparked controversy with his recent comments regarding the alleged unfulfilled promise of a Lamborghini by Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy to socialite Sophia Egbueje.

The dispute began when leaked voice notes purportedly captured a conversation between Sophia and a friend, alleging that Burna Boy had promised to purchase a Lamborghini Urus valued at over ₦500 million following an intimate encounter but failed to deliver.

In response, Omashola, who married South African entrepreneur Britnee Malin in December 2023, expressed relief that his wife is not Nigerian, stating, "Thank God my wife no be Naija babe o. How man pikin one take buy Lambo?"
