Ancelotti expressed optimism regarding their recovery, stating, "We are working on getting both Mendy and Ceballos ready for the first leg against Arsenal."

Both players have been sidelined due to injuries in recent weeks. Mendy, the French left-back, has been recovering from a calf muscle issue, while Spanish midfielder Ceballos has also been dealing with fitness concerns. Their return would strengthen Real Madrid's squad depth at a crucial point in the season.

Additionally, Real Madrid awaits the outcome of a UEFA investigation into alleged player misconduct following their recent Champions League win over Atletico Madrid. The inquiry, which involves several players, including Ceballos, could influence squad availability for upcoming fixtures. Ancelotti, however, remains confident that the matter will be resolved in the club's favor, emphasizing that his players have done nothing wrong.

As the season nears its conclusion, Ancelotti stressed the importance of having a fully fit squad to compete across multiple fronts, including La Liga, the Champions League, and the Copa del Rey. Currently trailing Barcelona by three points in the league, Real Madrid is determined to push for silverware on all fronts.

With the clash against Arsenal approaching, the potential return of Mendy and Ceballos could provide a significant boost to Real Madrid’s performance as they continue their pursuit of European glory.
