"I am focused on my team" - Rúben Amorim reponds to interviewer question on Marcus Rashford

Rúben Amorim, the manager of Manchester United, addressed questions about Marcus Rashford's performance on loan at Aston Villa, emphasizing his focus on his own team.

Amorim stated, "I am focused on my team and my players. Rashford is not my player at the moment." He also expressed satisfaction when players perform well while out on loan, saying, "But of course I am happy when our players are playing well on loan."

Rashford has been in impressive form at Villa, notably scoring twice in a 3-0 win against Preston North End, helping the team reach the FA Cup semi-finals. Reflecting on his time at Villa, he shared that he feels fitter and is playing better since joining the club.

Previously, Amorim discussed the reasons behind Rashford’s departure from Manchester United, noting difficulties in aligning on footballing philosophy and training methods. "I couldn't put Marcus to see the way you're supposed to play football and to train the way I see it," he explained.
