It's been learnt that this performance brought his tally for the season to 36 goals in 35 games, edging him closer to his goal of 100.
Since joining Barcelona from Bayern Munich in 2022, Lewandowski has made a significant impact. As of March 2025, he has played 144 matches for the club, scoring 95 goals across all competitions. In his debut season (2022-2023), he scored 33 goals in 47 appearances, followed by 26 goals in 49 matches during the 2023-2024 season.
Lewandowski's consistent performances have been crucial in Barcelona's successes, including winning the La Liga title and the Spanish Super Cup in 2022-2023.
Meanwhile Under coach Hansi Flick, Barcelona has demonstrated exceptional form, setting a La Liga record by scoring 139 goals in 45 matches, with Lewandowski continuing to play a key role in their attacking efforts.
