Rúben Amorim Provides Update on Luke Shaw's Fitness and Recovery
Rúben Amorim has provided an update on Luke Shaw's recovery, confirming that the defender is still not ready for competitive action.
Amorim mentioned, "We are starting doing some drills with the team but we are building Luke... it’s not time yet." Despite working on his fitness, Shaw, who has only featured in three matches this season, is still recovering from a setback following his last appearance in December.
Amorim remains cautious but optimistic, emphasizing that they are taking the necessary steps to bring Shaw back to full fitness.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have received positive news regarding two other defenders, Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro, both of whom are now fit and available for selection ahead of the team’s upcoming Premier League match against Nottingham Forest. Maguire had been recovering from a calf injury, while Yoro has overcome a foot issue.
