Super Eagles of Nigeria have welcomed 22 players to their training camp in Kigali, Rwanda, ahead of the upcoming international break. The squad is preparing for crucial FIFA World Cup qualifier matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Renowned sports writer Pooja shared a video on his X handle showcasing the arrival of key players, including captain William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, Ademola Lookman, Joe Aribo, Wilfred Ndidi, Calvin Bassey, and Alex Iwobi. The video confirmed that 22 players are now in camp, ready to commence training.

The Super Eagles are set to face Rwanda on March 21, 2025, at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, before hosting Zimbabwe on March 25, 2025, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Under the leadership of newly appointed head coach Eric Chelle, Nigeria is determined to strengthen its position in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers. The team currently holds three points from four matches, trailing Rwanda, South Africa, and Benin, who each have seven points.

The players have already begun training sessions, focusing on tactical drills and fitness routines to ensure optimal performance in the upcoming encounters.
