
Juventus secured a 2–0 victory over AC Monza today, Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Allianz Stadium in Turin. The match was part of Serie A's Week 34.
Nico González opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a powerful left-footed shot from outside the box, assisted by Renato Veiga. Randal Kolo Muani doubled the lead in the 33rd minute, finishing a swift counterattack initiated by Khéphren Thuram.
Kenan Yıldız received a direct red card just before halftime for violent conduct after elbowing Monza's Alessandro Bianco during a counterattack. The referee initially missed the incident, but VAR intervention led to the red card.
Despite being reduced to 10 men for the entire second half, Juventus maintained control and secured the win against a Monza side struggling at the bottom of the table.
With this victory, Juventus moves up to 4th place in the Serie A standings, totaling 62 points. They are now two points ahead of Bologna, who have 60 points. Lazio also reached 62 points after their 2–0 win over Genoa, leveling with Juventus in 5th place.
Juventus remains in contention for a Champions League spot, with four matches remaining in the season.
