Singer 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) and his fiancée, Natasha Osawaru, were spotted at the Edo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja on April 2, 2025.

The tribunal is set to deliver its verdict today on a petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Asuerinme Ighodalo, seeking to annul the election of Governor Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The PDP’s petition alleges that the September 21, 2024, gubernatorial election was fraught with irregularities, including over-voting and errors in the collation of results across several polling units. In December 2024, the tribunal announced plans to summon 290 witnesses to testify in the case, and formal hearings were scheduled to begin in January 2025. The tribunal's sessions were relocated to Abuja earlier this year, with no specific reasons provided for the move.
