Timber’s involvement follows his return from a lengthy rehabilitation following a previous knee injury. Although this marks a major step forward, it remains to be seen whether he will be included in match plans—initial training involvement doesn’t guarantee readiness for match fitness just yet.
With Gabriel Magalhães sidelined by a minor setback, and long-term absentees like Gabriel Jesus and Noni Madueke still unavailable due to recovery and holiday schedules, Timber’s progress is a welcome boost as Arsenal gradually approach a full-strength squad.
Timber participated fully in today's training, joining fellow defenders Calafiori, Mosquera, and new strikers like Gyökeres. The session took place amid Arsenal’s Asia tour, prior to their final friendly match. Although on-field, Timber is still building up fitness and may not yet be match-ready. Arsenal continue to monitor squad readiness with several players unavailable due to injury or post-tournament break.
