Former Arsenal star Andrey Arshavin was spotted at Anfield today, attending the Premier League clash between Liverpool and Arsenal. His presence evoked memories of one of the most electrifying individual performances in Premier League history—his legendary four-goal haul at the same stadium in 2009, a match that ended in a thrilling 4–4 draw and cemented his name in Arsenal folklore.
Before kickoff, Arshavin was photographed outside Anfield, standing in front of the iconic Kop stand. Dressed casually in a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers, he posed with four fingers raised on one hand—a clear nod to his unforgettable quartet of goals from that night over a decade ago.

As for today’s game, it was Liverpool who claimed the spotlight. The hosts secured a narrow 1–0 victory thanks to a moment of brilliance from Dominik Szoboszlai, who curled in a stunning free-kick from over 30 yards out in the 83rd minute. Arsenal, despite introducing Eberechi Eze for his debut, couldn’t find a response, handing Mikel Arteta’s side their first defeat of the season.
