Recall that Nigerian music icon 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia) and Natasha Osawaru officially stepped into married life. The ceremony took place in Edo State on July 25, 2025, in a low‑key but elegant event attended by close family and friends.
Natasha, who represents Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, took to Instagram on August 1 to share photos showcasing her wedding ring. She also proudly wore the ring during a House plenary session, drawing admiration from colleagues and followers alike.
The engagement and wedding follow a public proposal from 2Baba in February 2025, where he confirmed his love for the lawmaker and expressed his desire to marry her. The announcement came amid the singer’s ongoing divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.
Natasha Osawaru was born in November 1994. She holds a law degree from Igbinedion University and a master's in fashion design from Parsons School of Design in New York. She serves as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly under the Peoples Democratic Party and is the granddaughter of Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, Esama of Benin Kingdom.
The Instagram post featuring Natasha displaying her ring, particularly a large stone mounted on a sleek band, sparked widespread engagement online. Many fans celebrated the elegance of the gesture, while others speculated about the symbolism behind the post. One follower commented: “Mission accomplished.”
