Actress Peju Ogunmola’s Family Debunks Rumors Surrounding Son Ayomikun’s Death

Actress Peju Ogunmola and her family have publicly addressed the circumstances surrounding the death of her only child, Ayomikun Omobolanle, setting the record straight amid swirling online rumors.

In a heartfelt statement released by family spokesperson Yemi Amodu, they firmly denied claims that Ayomikun died from a bathroom accident abroad—a narrative that had gained traction across social media platforms.

According to the family, Ayomikun passed away after a brief illness in Ibadan, Oyo State, where he received top-tier medical care. Despite the efforts of the attending medical team, he peacefully passed on and was laid to rest at Eternal Rest Home in Ibadan.

The statement described Ayomikun as “a jewel, a precious child, and a rising star whose light shone brightly and touched many lives.” The family expressed deep sorrow over his loss and condemned the spread of false information.
