PSG Drop Points Again in 1–1 Draw Against Lorient

Paris Saint-Germain were frustratingly held to a 1–1 draw by Lorient on Wednesday, dropping precious points in their Ligue 1 campaign.
After a scoreless first half, PSG struck first in the 49th minute. A well-delivered cross from Désiré Doué found Nuno Mendes, whose initial header was saved but redirected back into the net on the rebound.

However, Lorient responded almost immediately. Just two minutes later, Igor Silva unleashed a powerful strike from just outside the box that beat PSG’s keeper, leveling the score.

The match also saw an injury concern for PSG: Désiré Doué was forced off on a stretcher in the 61st minute after holding his thigh. Both sides pushed for a winner, but neither could find the decisive goal.
